I started Grooming in 2005. First as a bather at PetSmart , I went to their academy and became a groomer in 2007. Around 2008/09 I moved on to a private Salon where I learned soo much more about grooming and how much there was to learn. I found I really had a passion for it and thus began the quest for knowledge. I relocated and began working at a Kennel/training / grooming facility in Broomfield where I was able to really focus on speed and getting the technical aspects down yet after 6 years I felt I was meant for bigger things with more responsibilities and so I decided it was time to focus on just the grooming and just me.

My close friend by chance had an opening at her salon and offered me a spot. Its been hard work but very rewarding and fun. I thought I never wanted to have the responsibilities of "ownership" but I'm finding it is actually a better match for me than I thought. My friends and family all say I'm happier than I've been in years.

I'm back on track to become a certified master groomer through the National Dog Groomers Association of America.   I love learning and improving my skills.  I hope to Open My own Salon within the next couple years. I really want to have something that is mine.

I'm a competitive person at heart and so I always want to be the best. This is helpful when you are trying to please clients. I want my Clients to love my work above and beyond everyone else as well. I also take great pride in my customer service skills and my ability to read and handle dogs. I've had many pet parents tell me their dogs cant go to any other groomer because they only like me.

After working for Colorado Dog academy in Broomfield for 6 years I learned soo much about animal behavior which has helped me with my grooming and ability to handle most dogs without any problems.

Now the personal stuff. I hate to admit I'm almost 40 years old. I have 1 wonderful husband of 17 years, 2 kitties, 2 doggies. My animals are my children and my world revolves around them. I love all music in just about every genre. Dancing, hanging out with family and friends are my favorite things to do.
